This May, Harper’s BAZAAR Editor in Chief Glenda Bailey and interior designer Sara Story brought together leading women of the art and design world to discover Piaget’s Sunny Side of Life high jewelry collection at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York. The collection celebrates a life filled with radiant moments, highlighting a unique glow, contagious joy, and creative vivacity inspired by a sunny disposition. A beautiful candlelit evening with live jazz and an artful display of high jewelry were representative of a “Sunny Side of Life” to begin the summer.

Harper’s BAZAAR partnered with Lord & Taylor in April for a stylish celebration of the brand’s launch as “The Dress Address,” along with a toast to the opening of The Gallery, which includes luxury dresses from iconic designers on the fifth floor of Lord & Taylor’s New York City flagship. Event hosts included BAZAAR Editor in Chief Glenda Bailey, Lord & Taylor President Liz Rodbell, and Marchesa co-founders Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, all of whom mingled with guests as DJ Jenny Albright spun the soundtrack and illustrator Bil Donovan live-sketched the fashionable crowd.

This May, Mother’s Day was in full bloom. Harper’s BAZAAR and Jo Malone London co-hosted an exclusive event at the Bergdorf Goodman Good Dish café to celebrate the holiday and launch of the limited-edition Star Magnolia fragrance. BAZAAR Executive Fashion & Beauty Editor Avril Graham and Anthony Vesnaver, the executive director of education of Jo Malone London, were on hand to engage in a conversation focused on the brand’s Blossom collection and the art of layering fragrances.
